For the Salmon:
- 1 1/2-2 lb center-cut salmon filets, skin removed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
- 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 3/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1/2-1 tbsp sriracha
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
Instructions
- Cut the salmon fillets into evenly sized 1-inch cubes
- In a bowl whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and sea salt
- Add salmon pieces to the bowl and gently toss until fully coated
- Let the salmon marinate for up to 30 minutes
- Preheat the air fryer to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC)
- Arrange salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket
- Air fry for 7โ10 minutes, shaking or turning halfway through cooking
- In a small bowl whisk mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and rice vinegar to make the bang bang sauce
- Allow salmon to rest for 3โ5 minutes after cooking
- Drizzle the bang bang sauce over the salmon bites and serve immediately
