Description

Crispy, tender Air Fryer Salmon Bites coated in a sweet savory marinade and finished with a creamy spicy bang bang sauce. This quick seafood recipe cooks in under 10 minutes and makes the perfect high-protein dinner, lunch, or appetizer.

For the Salmon:
  • 1 1/2-2 lb center-cut salmon filets, skin removed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 3/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
For the Bang Bang Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1/2-1 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Cut the salmon fillets into evenly sized 1-inch cubes
  2. In a bowl whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and sea salt
  3. Add salmon pieces to the bowl and gently toss until fully coated
  4. Let the salmon marinate for up to 30 minutes
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC)
  6. Arrange salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket
  7. Air fry for 7โ€“10 minutes, shaking or turning halfway through cooking
  8. In a small bowl whisk mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and rice vinegar to make the bang bang sauce
  9. Allow salmon to rest for 3โ€“5 minutes after cooking
  10. Drizzle the bang bang sauce over the salmon bites and serve immediately


Notes

Pat the salmon dry before marinating for crisp edges. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket or the salmon will steam instead of crisping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer at 350ยฐF for 3โ€“4 minutes.
