Spaghetti
- 4 ounces spaghetti noodles, cooked
- 24 ounces spaghetti sauce
- 1 pound ground beef
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded and divided
- 1 cup (2 sticks or 227g) butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon parsley, minced
- 6 large bread rolls
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF
- Line a sheet pan with parchment paper
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef until no longer pink
- Season with salt and pepper
- Add spaghetti sauce and simmer 10 minutes on low heat
- Stir in cooked spaghetti noodles and toss to coat
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, salt, and parsley
- Cut centers from tops of rolls without cutting through the base
- Brush garlic butter inside and outside each roll
- Fill each roll with 1 tablespoon mozzarella
- Add 1/2 cup spaghetti mixture
- Top with another tablespoon mozzarella
- Bake 7โ10 minutes until golden and cheese is melted
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm
Notes
Use high-quality spaghetti sauce for best flavor. Freshly shredded mozzarella melts more smoothly. Ground turkey or Italian sausage can replace beef. Add red pepper flakes for heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a 325ยฐF oven until warmed through.
