- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tsp rice wine vinegar
- 3/4 tsp low sodium soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup yellow onion, finely diced
- 1 (28 oz) bag fully cooked frozen meatballs (beef, chicken, pork, or veggie)
- 3 green onions, diced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Add frozen meatballs to a 6-quart crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, honey, ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and onion until combined.
- Pour sauce over meatballs and stir to coat.
- Cover and cook on High for 2ยฝโ3 hours or Low for 5โ6 hours.
- Stir before serving, garnish with green onions, and enjoy.
Notes
Use fully cooked frozen meatballs to prevent excess grease. Real honey and fresh garlic/onion boost flavor. To thicken the sauce, cook uncovered the last 15 minutes. Serve over rice, noodles, or as appetizers. Store leftovers in the fridge for 4โ5 days or freeze up to 3 months.
