Description

If youโ€™re looking for a fun, no-bake dessert thatโ€™s perfect for spring celebrations, these Easter Dirt Cups are a guaranteed hit. Creamy chocolate pudding, crushed Oreo โ€œdirt,โ€ and colorful candy toppings come together to create a playful treat that kids absolutely love and adults secretly do too.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 (3.9 oz) boxes chocolate instant pudding
  • 4 cups milk (2% or whole)
  • 25 Oreo sandwich cookies
  • 8 oz Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed
  • 10 Easter Peeps
  • Chocolate mini eggs
  • Easter sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place Oreo cookies in a large zip-top bag and crush them using a rolling pin or mallet
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until smooth and well combined
  3. Gently fold the Cool Whip into the pudding mixture until light and fluffy
  4. Add a thin layer of crushed cookies to the bottom of each plastic cup
  5. Spoon the pudding mixture over the cookie layer, filling almost to the top
  6. Sprinkle more crushed cookies on top to create the dirt effect
  7. Insert a toothpick into each Peep and place it on top, then add chocolate eggs and sprinkles
  8. Refrigerate until ready to serve

Notes

Use clear cups to show off layers. Chill for 1โ€“2 hours before serving for best texture. Let kids decorate their own cups for fun. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
