Description

In this kitchen-friendly recipe, slow cooker chicken and gravy is the focus tender chicken simmered in a rich, creamy gravy until it melts into your favourite base. These slow cooker chicken and gravy moments feel like comfort wrapped in warmth.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet (0.87 oz) brown gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup water or chicken broth
  • Chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • Optional: sour cream or cream cheese
  • Optional: garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper
  • Optional: Ranch seasoning or Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts evenly in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, gravy mix, and ยฝ cup water or chicken broth. Add optional seasonings if using.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, covering it as much as possible.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6โ€“8 hours or HIGH for 3โ€“4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred chicken with two forks and stir back into the gravy.
  6. If using sour cream or cream cheese, stir it in now for extra creaminess.
  7. Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits.


Notes
