Made with just a handful of pantry staples, theyโ€™re ready in under 30 minutes and endlessly customizable with your favorite toppings, from everything seasoning to cinnamon sugar.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour for extra fiber)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup thick Greek yogurt (full-fat recommended)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional toppings: Everything bagel seasoning (cinnamon sugar, shredded cheese, garlic & herbs, chocolate chips)

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep โ€“ Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients โ€“ In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. If making cinnamon bagels, add 2 tsp cinnamon now.
  3. Add Yogurt โ€“ Stir in Greek yogurt with a spatula until the dough starts to form. Knead gently by hand until cohesive.
  4. Shape Bagels โ€“ Lightly flour your work surface. Divide dough into 4 portions. Roll into balls, flatten slightly, and poke a hole in the center (or roll into logs and join the ends).
  5. Egg Wash & Toppings โ€“ Brush each bagel with whisked egg. Sprinkle with your chosen toppings.
  6. Bake โ€“ Bake for 22โ€“25 minutes or until golden brown.
