Description

Juicy, flavorful, and lighter than beef, these ground chicken burgers are easy to make and perfect for a weeknight dinner or summer cookout. With just a few simple ingredients, you’ll have tender patties ready to be topped with crisp lettuce, tomato, and onion.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless (skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cubed)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 small onion (cut into chunks)

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 3 tablespoons oil (for frying)
  • 12 hamburger buns

  2. With damp hands, form into 10–12 patties.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook patties 5–6 minutes per side, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Serve on buns with lettuce, tomato, and red onion.
