Description

This Halloween Taco Dip is a festive, no-bake party appetizer layered with beans, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, and veggies decorated with a spooky spider web and olive spider. Perfect for Halloween parties, potlucks, or family movie nights.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 can Frito Lay Bean Dip (8 oz)
  • 1 cup guacamole (prepared or homemade)
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream (1 cup for taco layer, 1/2 cup for web)
  • 1 pouch taco seasoning
  • 8 -10 black olives (reserve 2 for spider, slice/dice the rest)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 tomato (seeded and diced)
  • 1 cup kale (shredded very thin)

Instructions

  1. Spread bean dip evenly on an 8-inch plate.
  2. Mix 1 cup sour cream with taco seasoning; spread in a 2-inch ring around the plate’s edge.
  3. Spread guacamole in the center, on top of beans.
  4. Place ½ cup sour cream in a zip-top bag, snip the corner, and pipe a spider web over guacamole.
  5. Sprinkle kale, cheese, tomato, and olives on top of the sour cream ring.
  6. Create spider: place one olive in the center of the web, slice another olive into 8 strips for legs.

Equipment

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
  • Best served fresh; assemble just before serving for the brightest colors.
  • Can be made in a larger dish (like a 9x13 pan) by doubling ingredients.
