Description

An easy oven-baked salmon recipe brushed with a zesty honey mustard sauce, perfect for a flavorful weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds salmon fillet
  • 1/2 tablespoon thyme
  • Lemon wedges, for garnish

For the honey mustard sauce:

  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, and smoked paprika.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the salmon fillet, skin side down, in the center.
  4. Spread the honey mustard sauce evenly over the top of the salmon using a spoon or basting brush.
  5. Sprinkle thyme over the sauced salmon.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve warm with lemon wedges.


Notes

You can substitute fresh herbs or adjust the paprika for more or less smokiness. Serve with rice, veggies, or salad.
