An easy oven-baked salmon recipe brushed with a zesty honey mustard sauce, perfect for a flavorful weeknight dinner.

- 2 pounds salmon fillet
- 1/2 tablespoon thyme
- Lemon wedges, for garnish
For the honey mustard sauce:
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
- In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, and smoked paprika.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the salmon fillet, skin side down, in the center.
- Spread the honey mustard sauce evenly over the top of the salmon using a spoon or basting brush.
- Sprinkle thyme over the sauced salmon.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve warm with lemon wedges.
Notes
You can substitute fresh herbs or adjust the paprika for more or less smokiness. Serve with rice, veggies, or salad.
