Description

A spooky and fun Halloween recipe, Monster Eyeball Pizza features gooey mozzarella “eyeballs” with olive pupils, bubbling marinara, and a golden crispy crust. Perfect for kids’ parties, Halloween dinners, or just a festive pizza night.


Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 mozzarella bocconcini (small balls)
  • 6 black olive slices (pitted)
  • Olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
  2. Roll/stretch dough on parchment into a 12-inch circle; brush with olive oil.
  3. Spread marinara evenly, leaving a border. Top with shredded mozzarella.
  4. Place bocconcini evenly and press an olive slice into each for “eyeballs.”
  5. Transfer pizza (on parchment) to the hot stone/pan. Bake 10–13 minutes until crust is golden and cheese bubbles.
  6. Cool slightly, slice, and serve hot.


Notes

  • Pat bocconcini dry to avoid soggy pizza.
  • For a creepier look, use green olives with pimentos for the “pupils.”
