- 1 1/2 cups semisweet or dark chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 5 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 1/2 cups mini pretzels, broken into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups powdered sugar (plus more as needed)
- 1 1/2 cups red and green M&Ms
- 1 cup mini peanut butter cups
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together Rice Chex cereal and broken pretzel pieces.
- In a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter until smooth.
- Pour the melted mixture over cereal and pretzels. Stir gently to coat evenly.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes, until mixture begins to set.
- In another large bowl, sprinkle ยฝ cup powdered sugar, add half the chilled mix, then another ยฝ cup sugar. Repeat with remaining mix.
- Toss everything together gently to coat in sugar.
- Chill again for 30โ60 minutes until fully set.
- Add more powdered sugar ยผ cup at a time, tossing between additions, until evenly coated.
- Stir in red and green M&Ms and mini peanut butter cups.
- Serve in a festive bowl and enjoy!
