Description

This Reindeer Food Recipe is a magical, no-bake holiday treat packed with crunchy cereal, salty pretzels, sweet peanut butter, and festive candies. Perfect for parties, gifting, or cozy movie nights.

  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 5 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups mini pretzels, broken into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (plus more as needed)
  • 1 1/2 cups red and green M&;Ms
  • 1 cup mini peanut butter cups

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together Rice Chex cereal and broken pretzel pieces.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted mixture over cereal and pretzels. Stir gently to coat evenly.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, until mixture begins to set.
  5. In another large bowl, sprinkle ยฝ cup powdered sugar, add half the chilled mix, then another ยฝ cup sugar. Repeat with remaining mix.
  6. Toss everything together gently to coat in sugar.
  7. Chill again for 30โ€“60 minutes until fully set.
  8. Add more powdered sugar ยผ cup at a time, tossing between additions, until evenly coated.
  9. Stir in red and green M&Ms and mini peanut butter cups.
  10. Serve in a festive bowl and enjoy!
