- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup white chocolate chips (melted for webs)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, remove from heat, and stir in cocoa powder. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil until light and foamy.
- Stir in butter mixture and vanilla until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour into prepared pan and bake 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool completely before decorating.
- Melt white chocolate and pipe spider web designs over brownies. Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- For cleaner piping, let brownies chill slightly before decorating.
- Brownies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- Swap white chocolate for cream cheese frosting if desired.
